Jay S. Sidhu
Jay S. Sidhu is Chairman and CEO of Customers Bancorp, Inc., Customers Bank and BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank. When Mr. Sidhu joined the company in 2009, it was a $250 million asset-troubled bank. Today, it is an $8.4 billion asset high-performing bank. 
From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Sidhu was Chairman and CEO of Sidhu Advisors, a private equity and financial services consulting company. Prior to that, he was Chairman and CEO of Sovereign Bancorp, Inc. and Sovereign Bank, a $90 billion financial institution, until retiring in 2006. During his 20 years at Sovereign, Mr. Sidhu grew the company to the 17th largest bank in the US.
Mr. Sidhu has been recognized as Financial World’s CEO of the year, Turnaround Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Chamber of Commerce’s Large Business Leader of the Year. He has served on numerous business and not-for-profit boards, including the Board of Banco Santander, the Board of Trustees of Wilkes University and the Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation.
